The applications period is now OPEN and closes on April 14, 2023.

Thrive Program Benefits

The Thrive Program is first and foremost a one-on-one mentoring program for qualified Staten Island entrepreneurs. Specific Benefits of the Program include:

  • Advisory sessions with Thrive Program mentors

  • Access to College of Staten Island networks

  • Access to grant opportunities

  • Access to free or discounted services

  • Access to talent in the College community

  • Free use of office space at the CSI Tech Incubator

To qualify, the founder (or one of the co-founders) must be a Staten Island resident. This program is for founders with a product or service that is actively being sold, and who have a growing audience for their brand. A legal business entity is not a requirement for participation.

The selection criteria will emphasize the founders’ willingness to commit to the program and the clarity of their vision and business plan.

To be considered for the Program, fill in the application questionnaire HERE by April 14, 2023.

About the Program

The Thrive Program provides strategic mentoring to selected Staten Island founders in areas such as branding, business strategy, legal (entity formation, contracts, trademarks), marketing, sales and web development.

Each participating entrepreneur will be offered weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions with our experienced subject matter experts throughout the four-month long program. While applying to the program, entrepreneurs will identify the most pressing issues their company is facing. With the help of a mentor and the CSI Tech Incubator staff, they will come up with a plan to address those issues. The mentors will serve in a purely advisory capacity with the founders.
