Girl Scouts Cadette Troop 5415 Web Development Workshop | January 24, 2020

Girl Scouts unleashes the G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ in every girl, preparing her for a lifetime of leadership—from taking a night-time hike under the stars to accepting a mission on the International Space Station; from lobbying the city council with her troop to holding a seat in Congress; from running her own cookie business today to tackling cybersecurity tomorrow.

The CSI Tech Incubator Girls Who Code Club facilitator, Kaylyn Torres, inspired Girl Scouts Cadette Troop 5415 by hosting a special web development workshop and introducing our Girls Who Code curriculum. Troops learned basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript concepts to develop their own websites. This marks the 1st time we have hosted a Girl Scout troop.
