WE Connect Mentor Session with Aileen Gemma Smith of Vizalytics Technology | May 2, 2017 @ 10 AM

RSVP and join us at the Staten Island Business Solutions Center, 120 Stuyvesant Place, 3rd Floor, Staten Island, NY 10301 to learn how these visionaries paved the way.

Aileen Gemma Smith is CEO and co-founder of Vizalytics Technology, the New York data company bridging the information access gap between government and citizens, businesses, and communities. Aileen has worked as a content manager, strategist and consultant for Newsweek, the Financial Times and Razorfish. She created Staten Island Counts, which mined publicly-available data to reveal insights about the NYC borough where she grew up. At Vizalytics, she and her team have created apps and solutions to make businesses more competitive, citizens more connected to government, and communities more cohesive and responsive, earning honors from 500 Startups, NYC Big Apps and the Amazon Web Services City on a Cloud competition.

Aileen Gemma Smith is one of WE NYC's WE Connect Mentors - successful women who volunteer their time to coach other entrepreneurs on everything from branding to negotiating contracts to raising capital. Every week, Mentors are available for free coaching sessions at Business Solution Centers across the five boroughs.

Women entrepreneurs are key economic actors in New York City — building businesses that support families, uplift communities and generate jobs.

WE NYC (Women Entrepreneurs NYC) is an initiative of the NYC Department of Small Business Services that is dedicated to helping women start and grow their businesses.
