• 6:50 PM - 6:55 PM: Lightning Talk 1: Matthew Henschke on his JP Morgan Virtual Internship - A sneak peek of the type of tasks you can expect within internships.
• 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: WordPress for Software Engineers by Joel Escobar - Joel is Head of Platform Engineering at The Block. Joel will review why The Block chose WordPress as a CMS outlining the pros and cons of the platform. He will take us on a journey of what WordPress standards the team has embraced and what they have replaced. This will cover managing customizations, steps to improve performance, testing , and system automation.
